From Training to Teaching ~ 10 Years as Yoga Teachers with Kris & Joanna

Kris began as a ballet dancer at age four. Yoga became part of her dance training and later evolved into a steady, grounding practice. After retiring from dance, she completed her 200-hour Hatha and Vinyasa training in 2015 and continued studying meditation, YHot, and Pilates. Known for her balanced, supportive classes, Kris focuses on functional movement and believes stability leads to freedom. Her teaching invites students to show up as they are, with thoughtful flows and great music.

I'm so glad you felt the benefits of this class Ginny Nelson! There's a Yoga-Qigong fusion class coming up next month! 😊

🥰 Thank you for these kind words Vanessa Iannucci I'm so pleased this resonated with you.

Love: Rotating object of mindful attention (skin, fascia, vessels etc.) >> Love: Novel reverse twisty-thingy >> Love: How my body & mind felt afterwards >> Thank you, Juan!

Jemma Thank you for your kind words 🥰. I’m so glad you appreciate this ancient wisdom as much as I do!

Paul Cowcher, I forgot to mention that it's important to "oil the nostrils" after they've dried, post-neti. I think online instructions often miss this step, which is an important one! But I recall you saying at the retreat that you hadn't been sick in 20 years, so maybe you should share your secrets with me! 😁 Thanks for sticking with me through the technical issues 😅

Mark Atherton you mentioned that the lunge modification was something you learned from me, many moons ago 🥰 I loved having it taught back to me! I hadn't done it in a long time.

Ah, what a lovely pause in the midst of a full day. I am refreshed and rejuvenated. And so funny that you mentioned me at one point 😆 That made me giggle Mark Atherton

Sherida, how wonderful that you had the opportunity to learn Qigong in China! I will definitely be sharing more in the future. I find it such a beautiful complement to yoga.
