Barbara Thanks for joining me! The lip trills can be tricky for sure! If you have any questions pop them here for me! :)

Stephanie Rindosh I'm so glad you enjoyed this!!!

I'd love to know what you notice in this shape!? :)

Barbara Z. That's a great question. For some people it might, and for others it might not! For myself, the rounding of the spine increases the stretch I feel along my spine but the hip intensity stays mostly the same for me. I have some students who prefer the lengthened spine as they say it allows them to lean further into the fold and increases hip sensation. With all our wonderful anatomical variations, many things are possible. Exploring in our own bodies and letting our students know how something feels for us and inviting inquiry to how it may feel for them can be such a powerful teaching tool! That's one of the reasons I love yoga, no pose feels the same to any two people. It can also be the tricky part of sharing yoga with others or understanding if we are doing something the 'right' way. But one of my new mottos when teaching myself or other is simply to ask 'how does this feel' and use that as my touchstone to either adjust or simply enjoy :).

Markeysha Evans Thanks for practicing with me!
