Namaste Emily <3 Gratitude for your guidance of this practice.I have been in chaos yet again, flare ups, turmoil of life....In the yoga nidra practice prior to this session, the guide mention something like "being in the eye of the storm"...it did connect as I feel am spinning, I am stuck in the storm of present life...I want to find peace within the storm, but I am having difficulties....this practice following this morning yoga nidra helped in feeling some calm....and seeing myself in the eye of the storm.....staying centered and letting be what does not serve swirling around....I felt some moment of calm during this practice with you, and for that i thank you. In some moment i was questioning if this practice was the right one as I felt I was a bit slow to follow! Speed is just an empty concept, as long as you keep going to your own flow, that is what is important. (I've been learning over this past year!!!) I did find some calm! I will try to nurture it for the rest of the day<3

Thank You Joanna for your guidance in this practice<3  I was unable to start the challenge at the schedule time, I found myself this morning feeling quite overwhelmed, well that feelings has been lingering for a long time....I need to rest and practice finding calm within the storm...still have some practice to do!!! I do feel a bit more peaceful after this practice. Your guidance was very soothing. Thank You. Namaste<3

On technical side of the practice, when we had knee to chest and other leg straight pushing sole of foot away, should my hip stay in line or as I hold knee to chest that hip is more "raised" and when pushing the foot away, that hip is more"pulled downward"..Hope that make some sense....To explain I have hyper mobility (ligaments/tendons to lax), so I wonder if I I should focus on keeping hips/pelvis in alignment.....I do what feels good, what I think is good, but never know if it is the right thing to do! Thanks for guiding me into understanding better! :)

What a wondrous practice, Juan! Namaste <3 Thank you for guiding this flow. I needed a good flow as my system has been in the frenzy and survival mode feel like it is failing....Lots going on close and afar..sad world...I needed disconnect should I say and breathe as well as feel my body. Although challenging in moments since my body is still in a flare up from chronic conditions, I felt some peace. It felt great. Thank you. Also, as we are in a tail end (possibly) of a heat wave, it felt like a hot yoga session! My body sure got rid of toxins!!! All the components surrounding this practice really was fabulous. As the practice went on, I felt my being "relaxing" being able to move deeper into asanas... The calm in your guidance always help one stay connected within. Thank You so much. Time to go re-hydrate and and keep electrolyte in balance! Namaste <3

Thank You! I been meaning to express how I like these challenges...it does help me bring a new focus to my practice and my healing journey...Although, the journey is rough and I often get lost in the "doing" of things...I do want to do these challenges to bring new perspective and challenge myself to be more reflective and in the moment during these practices...my regular practices are all related to healing and get back to some optimal health....i had forgotten why I practice these challenges but today, I remembered! Thank you soo much to all the Your Yoga Flow family! Such an important part of my journey and tremendously helpful when the fog gets thicker and I loose sight of the shore and the sky. Namaste<3
