Hi Louise, so happy to hear that you felt more peaceful after practicing with Joanna. Regarding your question about the hips, first of all, I think questioning your detailed hip placement in Knee to Chest Pose demonstrates an impressive level of awareness (kudos to you!) and yes try to reach the hip with the bent knee downward and away from your shoulder. To be honest, it is not wrong the original way but once you realize and question your hip placement listen to your intuition and reach that hip down so you can maybe discover a new feeling of lengthening on that side of the body.
